If you do not agree, please do not use the site. SmithtownHomePros.com is operated by Jump The Hurdle, based in Smithtown, New York.

What SmithtownHomePros is

SmithtownHomePros is an online directory that lists local home service businesses in Smithtown and the surrounding Suffolk County area. We provide a place for homeowners to find businesses and for businesses to be found. We are a directory and advertising platform only. We are not a party to any agreement, transaction, or work performed between a homeowner and a listed business.

We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee businesses

This is important, so please read it carefully. The businesses listed on SmithtownHomePros are not screened, verified, background-checked, endorsed, or guaranteed by us in any way. We do not confirm licensing, insurance, certifications, qualifications, or the quality of any work. A listing on this site is not a recommendation or a statement that a business is reputable or competent.

The order in which businesses appear, including any Featured placement, reflects paid advertising arrangements and does not reflect any judgment, ranking, or opinion by us about the quality of one business compared to another. You are solely responsible for evaluating any business before hiring them, including confirming their license, insurance, and references directly.

Your use of the site

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, submit false or misleading information, scrape or harvest listing data without permission, interfere with the site's operation, or impersonate any person or business.

Business listings

If you submit or claim a business listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent that business and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your listing current. We may edit, decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion. Paid listings are subject to the billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

Reviews and user content

Where the site allows reviews or other user content, you are responsible for what you submit and agree not to post anything false, defamatory, harassing, or infringing. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, we act as a platform for third-party content and are not the publisher or speaker of information provided by users or businesses. We may remove content at our discretion but are not obligated to monitor it.
