This Privacy Policy explains how SmithtownHomePros.com, operated by Jump The Hurdle, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website. We keep this simple because we collect very little.

If you use the "use my location" feature, your browser may share your approximate location to sort nearby businesses. We do not store that location, and the feature only works if you grant permission.

How we use information

We use information to respond to your messages, create and manage business listings, operate and improve the website, and understand site usage through aggregate analytics. We do not sell your personal information.

Payment information

When a business pays for a listing, payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers on our systems. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy and security practices.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and privacy-friendly analytics to understand site usage and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate the site, such as our payment processor and analytics provider, and only as needed. We may also disclose information if required by law.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
